CloudDC is Supermicro's all-in-one rackmount platform for cloud data centers. The Gold Series configurations are pre-configured, factory-tested, and cover different roles: compute nodes, storage servers, and virtualization platforms.

Three Gold configurations: a single-socket compute node (AS-1115CS-TNR) for AI storage clusters, a single-socket storage server (AS-2015CS-TNR) with up to 192TB raw capacity, and a dual-socket virtualization system (SYS-122C-TN) with 32 DIMM slots.

Yes. Depending on the base configuration, storage can be expanded or reduced, RAM adjusted, or a GPU added. Available GPU options vary by system – from up to 2 single-width GPUs to 4 GPUs on the storage-optimized configurations.

Please note: a customized configuration is no longer a Gold Series system, since the Gold Series consists of fixed, predefined standard configurations – we would then configure your system as an individual complete system based on the Gold Series configuration.

AS-1115CS-TNR is designed for compute density with very fast network connectivity (up to 200GbE). AS-2015CS-TNR is specialized for storage capacity, featuring eight 24TB HDDs plus NVMe and SSD cache. SYS-122C-TN is the only dual-socket system in the lineup and is designed for virtualization workloads with high memory density.

The compute and storage configurations each use an AMD EPYC™ 9004/9005 series processor (9555P and 9455P, respectively). The virtualization system uses two Intel® Xeon® 6736P processors in a dual-socket design.
